Il corso si propone di fornire i principi, gli strumenti metodologici e i protocolli operativi per la valutazione economica del capitale naturale e dei servizi ecosistemici​.

Contenuti del corso

Il capitale naturale. I servizi ecosistemici. Classificazione dei servizi ecosistemici. Gli scopi della valutazione economica. Principi di economia del benessere. Il paradigma del Valore Economico Totale. I metodi di valutazione: aspetti generali. I metodi di valutazione basati sulle preferenze rivelate: il metodo del costo del viaggio (modelli single site e modelli multiple sites); il metodo del prezzo edonico; il metodo del comportamento difensivo; altri metodi. I metodi di valutazione basati sulle preferenze espresse: la valutazione contingente; gli esperimenti di scelta. I metodi di second best: Benefit Transfer. Il danno ambientale in ambito giudiziario. Riparazione primaria, complementare e compensativa. Stima del danno ambientale mediante l’analisi di equivalenza. Esame di casi studio notevoli.
