Learning Objectives

Provide the basic knowledge to understand and analyse the relationship between economy and environmental resources; environmental protection and intervention tools.


Course Structure

The lessons are carried out through frontal teaching, classroom exercises and, if possible, technical visits to institutions, companies or external structures.


Detailed Course Content

Principles of general economics; The environment and the economy; Environmental externalities; The regulatory instruments of negative externalities; International, European and National environmental policies; Community and national; Criteria for the use of renewable and non-renewable resources; Economics and politics of climate change.
