Learning Objectives

The course aims at providing to provide students with practical theoretical and applied knowledge on the main species of Insects and other groups of harmful animal organisms (e.g. mites and nematodes), allowing them to acquire knowledge on the identification of these organisms and on their damage, as well as on the control tools used for their suitable strategies for limiting infestations and damage to crops and their products.

Course Structure

The course will be delivered by a 70% of lectures and a 30% of laboratory group activities, bibliographic searches, seminars and technical field visits.
