Course Overview

The master degree programme on "Territorial, Environmental and Landscape Protection" aims at providing expertise for the development of high-level professionals, specialised in the protection of natural ecosystems, agro-environmental and landscape resources, and restoration and rehabilitation of degraded areas and polluted sites.

At the end of the training process, the master’s graduate in "Territorial, environmental and landscape protection" will be able to perform the following tasks:

• to know methods and techniques for the remediation of contaminated sites and the rehabilitation and management of degraded areas and landscape;
• to put into action effective measures for conservation of biodiversity and soil fertility and for mitigating phenomena of hydrogeological instability;
• to manage the processes related to landscape planning, restoration, and creation, as well as to apply methodologies of environmental assessment.
