PUBLICATIONS AND BIBLIOMETRIC INDICATORS
Giovanni Signorello is Full Professor at the University of Catania (Italy) where he is engaged in research and teaching on economic valuation of environmental resources and conservation economics. From 2013 to 2021 has served as director the Center for Nature Conservation and Management (CUTGANA). He is the scientific coordinator of the Environmental Valuation Laboratory (ENVALAB). He has serves as vice-president of the management committee of the Action E45 "European Forest Externaities" (EUROFOREX) of the EU program COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology).He is associate editor of Resource Economics in the journal Frontiers in Environmentla Eonomics. From 2019 he is member of the World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA) of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Most of his research activity focuses on economic methods for measuring revealed and stated preferences for environmental goods and ecosystem services. Other research interests also include: economics and management of protected areas, benefit-cost analysis of investments on nature conservation and restoration, natural resource damage assessment, assessment of climate change on natural capital and agricultural systems; economics of natural disasters.
