Mario D’Amico is Full Professor at the Di3A Department, University of Catania. Is a teaching of Marketing and Food industry Management. Board Member of Doctorate Course in Agro-food economics at the Di3A. President (2017-2020) of Food science and technology MsC (LM-70 - University of Catania). Graduated in Agricultural Science (cum laude) in 1994 at Agricultural Faculty - University of Catania. Junior research in 1995 for National Research Council (CNR). Master (1997) in Agricultural Economics and Policy - Centro per la Formazione in Economia e Politica dello Sviluppo Rurale (ex C.S.R.E.A.M.) of Portici (NA). PhD (1999) in Agricultural Economics and Policy - University of Catania. Research fellow (1999-2001) - University of Catania. Assistant Professor (2002-2006). He was coordinator and member of several research project (PRA ex-60%, MiPAAF, MIUR-PRIN and Regione Siciliana). Member of prestigious scientific associations (SIDEA, EAAE, SIEA, etc.). Board Member of Italian Review of Agricultural Economics (REA). Editorial Board Member of reviews Sustainablility  and World (Mdpi). President (2016/2017-2019/2020) of Food science and technology MsC (LM 70 - University of Catania). Review Editor on the Editorial Board of Frontiers: Nutrition and Sustainable Food System (2021). Article Editor on the Editorial Board of on SAGE Open (2021). Member of Commission to National Scientific Habilitation (ASN) for SC 07/A1 (2018-2021). Member  Active (2019) of ITALIAN NATIONAL AGENCY FOR THE EVALUATION OF UNIVERSITIES AND RESEARCH INSTITUTES (ANVUR). Board member of the international PhD programme in Agricultural, Food and Environmental Science (since 2013), Universiy of Catania.
